The brief

This is an award notice only not a call to competition after conclusion of a procurement exercise via Crown Commercial Services Framework RM3808 Lot 10: Unified communications.

The new telephony contract will make use of existing physical phones, work with the existing mobile phone contract and integrate with MS Office 365, whilst facilitating the move towards a seamless Unified Communication and Collaboration (UCC) service.

The new contract will also include a number of specific projects: Project A Migration from/renewal of existing VOIP telephony system Project B Integration of VOIP telephony system with devices provided by the existing mobile phone contract Project C Develop a strategic vision and roadmap for migrating to a single Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) service.

Project D Full integration of Microsoft Teams into the Business Communications system across all users' devices Project E One Number solution that all business calls will go to the device of choice; desk phone, desktop, tablet, or smartphone.

Project F Consolidation/renewal of existing physical phones with soft phones and/or physical phones compatible with the target UCC service Project G Migration of DEL from PSTN to an alternative technology by 2025 Project H Integration of 'Walkie Talkie' functionality into the UCC service
