The ITT is to procure a specialist 3rd Party Programme Management Contractor (PMC) to support BEIS in the design, management and successful delivery of a Flexibility Innovation Programme within the BEIS Net Zero Innovation Portfolio (NZIP).

This programme aims to enable widespread electricity system flexibility through smart, secure, & accessible technologies & markets.

We expect the Programme to be a substantial part of the at least £100m Energy Storage & Flexibility Challenge set out in the PM’s 10 Point Plan for a Green Industrial Revolution.

BEIS will require support in the programme design, launch & project management, founded on recognised technical expertise in the following areas: •Integration & interoperability of DSR systems; •Standards & specifications related to smart energy systems; •V2X tech •Smart Metering •Low Income & Vulnerable •Data & Digitisation •Digital Solutions •Markets for Flexibility •Moving from lab scale to real world demonstrator settings
