The Northern Lighthouse Board is seeking competitive pricing for a replacement Fire Detection System on the NVL Pharos.
The NLV Pharos current Fire Detection system is an Autronica BS-100 system which is now obsolete and needs replacing with a modern equivalent.
Suppliers are invited to provided a fixed cost for a proposed new Fire Detection system and its installation, where possible existing electrical wires should be used to minimise the costs.
Suppliers assessment and pricing of the proposed new Fire Detection System should be based on the below FIRE AND CONTROL PLAN and a site visit to the vessel is schedule on Thursday 19 September 2019 details are included with the quotation document.
The supplied system must be rated for the marine environment, certified according to Marine Equipment Directive (MED) being Class Approved (Lloyds Register).
It should also meet European Standards EN 54-2 and EN 54-4.
The proposed supplied new system should have the same cover in way of number and types of fire detection equipment details of the Boards requirements are contained in the quotation and can be download via https://www.delta-esourcing.com/.
