The brief

The overall goal of this research is to enable the British Library to become more inclusive and welcoming to a more racially and ethnically diverse and representative audience in order that we can attract and support a diverse community more effectively.

In achieve this goal, we require: •A deeper understanding of cultural nuances (i.e. perceptions, awareness and attitudes) of those from ethnically diverse communities, and •Clear, actionable recommendations for the changes (i.e. practical steps) we can make as an organisation for the short, medium and long term that can feed into the British Library's strategy and 2024 business planning.
