CHESHIRE AND WIRRAL PARTNERSHIP NHS FOUNDATION TRUST
GP & Specialist Nurse Services for Soss Moss Hospital and Greenways Unit
The procurement contact named on the official notice.
This sits below the typical range for Health & Social Care contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
It is nationally recognised that service users with serious mental illness or learning disability are more likely to have co-morbid physical health issues and shorter life expectancy.
Residing in inpatient services for long periods of time can also result in service users being more likely to develop long term physical health conditions.
A number of service users within each of the units covered by the service level agreement will have been admitted from outside of the Cheshire footprint and therefore will not be registered with a local GP, or eligible for such registration.
This service provision allows access to ongoing physical health monitoring/ screening.
