HMRC supports the Digital by Default Service Standard position with their Digital Strategy and has started to develop and deliver a range of flexible and secure digital services for its customers.

The collective aim for the development of these digital services is to create an online opportunity for our customers that will allow them to interact with HMRC more efficiently and at a lower cost, and equally to allow our customers to take more control of their tax affairs and be able to address any issues efficiently, without a need to call or write to HMRC.
