We are looking for a Provider(s) to enable NYCC to meet its statutory duty to homeless young people in the county in an innovative and sustainable way.

The following provides a breakdown of key outcomes for the service.

Pathway 1 • Partnership working delivering a coordinated and consistent approach to prevention and reduction of youth homelessness in accordance with the Homeless Reduction Act 2018. • Understanding the young person's network to enable a return to family or kinship through mediation where safe and sustainable • Advocacy and provision of emergency accommodation where needed. • Enabling young people to engage in education, employment and training and to prepare for independence Pathway 2 • Prevention of 16/17 years olds becoming Looked after Children • Provision of short term emergency accommodation, supported accommodation (24/7 support), supported lodgings and move on accommodation • Enabling young people to engage in education, employment and training and to prepare for independence
