The Hospice has been providing specialist palliative care for patients with complex needs who need 24/7 assessment and management by a specialist multidisciplinary team.
This service is delivered in a Hospice inpatient setting within the geographical area of the Health Board and works collaboratively with the Cardiff and Vale Health Board to deliver Prudent Healthcare for the local population.
The existing contract is due to expire 31st March 2022.
The Health Board wish to renew the contract with Marie Curie to continue their Hospice Inpatient Service at Holm Tower in Penarth.
