The brief

This service is currently managed by a single contractor throughout the North region.

It is our intention to procure the same.

The initial contract is for two years with an option to extend it for a further two years on a year-by-year basis.

The group has approx.

37,500 properties across all regions, but this contract will serve circa 8,000 properties within the Chorley and surrounding areas.

The approximate number of tower scaffold works on average per annum is as follows.

JHG North – Approx.

750 No tower scaffolds/annum with an approximate contract value of circa £350k/annum, please note that the tower scaffold must be erected and later removed every day, no tower scaffolding can be left up overnight.

The successful Contractor will be expected to mobilise to our timescale and be operational by 2nd November 2026, please refer to Section 1.10 the Tender Process Summary below for more details.

The initial contract period runs until 31st October 2028 and if successful a further two years extended, a year on year based on performance and by mutual agreement.

This Tender will comply and meet UK Procurement Act 2023.
