When this comes round again

NHS Resolution publishes Business Services work continuously — 31 notices, roughly one every 58 days. This is a stream to watch, not a cycle to wait for.

36% of NHS Resolution’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

The NHS Resolution (the "Authority") would like to invite suitably qualified suppliers to attend a Market Engagement event related to the planned procurement for the provision of special legal services.

The procurement will seek to appoint suppliers to a ‘Legal Panel’ who will support The Authority in managing claims in NHS Primary and Secondary settings.
This event will enable potential suppliers to better understand the Authority, its requirements and be given the opportunity to provide feedback on the operating model and planned procurement process.

Any future procurement process will be undertaken in line with the Public Contract Regulations (PCR) 2015.
Please see section “II.2.4 - Description of the procurement” for further information regarding this opportunity.
Lot 1 – Clinical Liabilities: Legal advice and assistance arising out of potential, actual or alleged clinical liabilities of Members, Beneficiaries or others who are indemnified under a scheme or arrangement.
Lot 1 – Non-Clinical Liabilities: Legal advice and assistance arising out of actual or alleged non-clinical liabilities of Members and/or practitioners, employees and workers of such bodies, Beneficiaries or others who are indemnified under a scheme or arrangement.
Lot 2 – Regulatory, Health and Disciplinary Law: Legal advice and assistance in relation to all aspects of medical and healthcare legislation (as amended from time to time) and corresponding statutory responsibilities and powers of Beneficiaries and their carrying out thereof, including under the NHS legislation for England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

There are no changes to the Lot 2 model.

The pricing matrix will continue to use the rate card.
