The equipment consists of: - franking machines - folder inserter - associated equipment/software upgrades to the folder inserter The upgrades will enable post room staff to print QR codes on each mail item, this will allow the post room to print for staff, insert paperwork into the envelop for and frank for each department without staff having to physically come into the office - supporting the Council's hybrid working strategy.
The contract has been procured via direct award under Lot 2 (Franking Machines, Mailroom Equipment And Associated Consumables) of the CCS RM6017 Postal Goods, Services and Solutions Framework.
