NHS Midlands and Lancashire Commissioning Support Unit (MLCSU) on behalf of NHS South Worcestershire, NHS Redditch and Bromsgrove and NHS Wyre Forest Clinical Commissioning Group (the CCGs) and Worcestershire County Council (WCC) are looking to bring together in an engagement event existing partner agencies, clinicians and providers with experience of this field, who might be interested in increasing opportunities for people with severe and enduring mental health issues in terms of their options for move on from recovery units and supported housing to more community based solutions.
The CCGs and WCC are reviewing the pathway of services for patients stepping down from secondary mental health recovery units /supported housing.
The CCG and WCC would like to understand where the gaps are in provision and look at good practice examples from other areas with innovative ways to deliver the services.
The outcomes of the event will then determine next steps for the Commissioning and Procurement of these services.
Providers are invited to a Market Engagement event which will be held on the 5th October 2016 at the Lakeside Room County Hall Worcestershire County Council Spetchley Road Worcester WR5 2NP.
