Estama (UK) Limited acts as the Managing Agent for The Swan Centre and is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Centre on behalf of MVDC.
The successful Contractor will report operationally to Estama throughout the Contract term.
The purpose of this procurement is to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide comprehensive Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Services to support the safe, compliant and efficient operation of The Swan Centre.
The successful Contractor shall provide a fully managed maintenance service comprising planned preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance, statutory inspections and testing, emergency call-out services, compliance reporting and associated contract management.
All works shall be undertaken within a live shopping centre environment and must be carefully planned to minimise disruption to tenants, visitors, contractors and the day-to-day operation of the Centre.
The Commencement Date for the delivery of the services is scheduled to be on 1st February 2027.
The Contract will be awarded for a period of 3 years until 31st January 2030, with an option to extend for a further 1-year period subject to performance and the absolute discretion of the Council.
