West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority (The Authority) are seeking expressions of interest from suppliers for an upcoming opportunity to provide Smoke Alarms and associated equipment under a National Framework Agreement for the Fire Sector.
Fire Service personnel undertake Safe and Well visits within their local communities on a daily basis; through these visits equipment requirements are identified and issued.
Establishing a national framework agreement will mean that all Fire and Rescue Authorities in England; Scotland; Wales; Northern Ireland; the States of Jersey; Guernsey and Isle of Man; could have one route to market to purchase Smoke Alarms.
The invitation to tender would be published November 2020 and the framework would be let for four years commencing June 2021.
