When this comes round again

Peel Ports Investments Limited's Construction cycle is past due — it ran about every 12 months across 4 notices, and the door is open now. It may re-tender at any time.

11% of Peel Ports Investments Limited’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

Peel Ports owns and operates six of the UK’s most important ports (Port of Liverpool, Heysham Port, Manchester Ship Canal, Medway (Sheerness / Chatham), Clydeport (Greenock, Hunterston, Ardrossan) and Great Yarmouth).

It also operates a container terminal in Dublin.

In the majority of these locations, the company builds, extends and refurbishes warehouses in support of its business strategy.

Peel Ports are looking to understand the national and regional core skills and competencies which exist in the market, specifically looking at design, project management, build and or refurbishment of warehouses, with some fit out required.

As such, Peel Ports Investments Limited is engaging in market research with a view to launching a competitive tender process at a later date for the award of warehouse design and build contractors on a long term basis.
