NEW PUBLIC TOILET FACILITIES AT ST MARY'S WAY AND WILTON ROAD
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the upper-middle of the Construction band — a substantial contract for the sector. Based on 64,002 valued Construction tenders in our corpus.
Melton Borough Council requires the construction of new public toilet facilities on two separate sites in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire.
The buildings are single storey and provide three WC's each, with an area for maintenance / servicing.
There are currently existing public toilet facilities at one of the sites, St Mary's Way public car park, which will be demolished under this contract to make way for the new development.
The other new facility at Wilton Road, will be positioned in the location of an existing raised planter on the site boundary, which will therefore involve partial demolition to dwarf brickwork walls and associated footings.
Both sites will require new block paving and making good to existing tarmacadam road surfacing.
Subject to the granting of planning permission for both new facilities, the works must commence by no later than week commencing Monday 24th July 2017 and all works must be completed by no later than week ending Friday 10th November 2017.
All the tender documents are attached to this notice for download.
Bidders are only required to submit their completed Response document by the tender deadline ('4.
Response document' in the attachments).
This document is comprised of the Government's mandatory Standard Selection Questionnaire (SQ), a set of 'pass/fail' questions, followed by the Tender Submission: a set of eight Quality questions which account for 40% of the available marks (5% per question) and Price which accounts for 60% of the available marks.
As well as a total price for both sets of works, bidders are also required to give a detailed price breakdown too.
