New Website: Design and Build
This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits below the typical range for IT Services contracts — a smaller, more accessible award. Based on 36,449 valued IT Services tenders in our corpus.
Alliance Homes Group’s website has been in place since 2010.
Its main purpose is to give information; it has limited functionality and does not support the Group’s aim of having 50% of tenants engaging with us digitally by 2018.
Currently visits to the website are in the region of 70 unique visitors a month and last year around 600 residents used the website to report a repair.
This compares with around 50,000 calls to the repairs hotline (albeit not all repairs related).
The vast majority of visitors are looking for contact information, visiting the homepage or looking at jobs.
Those looking to find out more about our services are in the minority.
Around 42% of our (8,000) residents are aged over 60.
This tender is for: • the redesign and build of a new website (phase 1) • assistance to structure the website to deliver an intuitive user experience • a platform that will link with internal systems • advice on the choice and usage of a content management system • integration of new and anticipated technologies with the website • assistance to develop search engine optimisation and collect and analyse web usage information.
We intend to appoint a qualified and experienced service provider to redesign and develop a comprehensive website (phase 1).
We also ask bidders to provide approach and indicative maximum costs for redeveloping our intranet (phase 2).
We reserve the right to retender or not progress to phases 2 once phase 1 is complete.
