The brief

NHS Arden GEM CSU on behalf of The NHS Commissioning Board operating as NHS England (East of England) (the Contracting Authority) wishes to commission Enhanced Mental Health services (EMH) services for adult victims and survivors of sexual assault and abuse with complex trauma related mental health needs and/or comorbid factors that may result in their presentation being more complex.

It is intended that a EMH service for the East of England will be set up for a period of 30 months.

The East of England service will receive referrals for a population of 1.5 million or more and will offer a tertiary service.

The tertiary service offer must augment (but not duplicate) existing mental health service provision and support the joining up of services (specifically specialist sexual violence and abuse voluntary sector organisations and secondary care NHS services) to reduce fragmentation for people accessing care.
