Approximately 60% of Older Peoples Mental Health services activity is a response to needs associated with dementia with the other 40% being associated with functional disorder such as anxiety and depression.
Doncaster has a dementia prevalence of 3521 (August 2022) with 2464 people registered as having dementia with GPs to give a diagnostic rate of 64.7%. (National average is 66.6%)
