The brief

NTCA is seeking to appoint a Contractor who can conceive, design and deliver the organisational and planning requirements for the ‘Winter Festival 2023’.

The appointed Contractor will develop a creative theme that can be told realistically throughout the ‘Winter Festival 2023’.

The project must be compelling, imaginative but understandable and it must be articulated and delivered consistently across the event footprint and within the specified budget.

NTCA is looking for a theme that can be translated into an effective marketing campaign.

The ‘Winter Festival 2023’ will be held in Newcastle over a MINIMUM four-day period in late November/early December 2023 (potential dates are Thursday 30th November – Sunday 3rd December 2023) with enhancing events (to supplement ‘The Winter Festival 2023’) taking place in North Tyneside and Northumberland e.g., illuminating/animating iconic attractions in Berwick, Alnwick, Amble, Tynemouth, Whitley Bay and North Shields in the run up to the main event in Newcastle. (Note: Whilst the Buyer in the Contact Details is listed as “North Tyneside Council”, this entry is system generated.

For the avoidance of doubt, the Buyer in this case is the North of Tyne Combined Authority (NTCA).
