The intention is to provide opportunities for the existing workforce to understand fully how children learn and develop, and for practitioners to gain the skills and experience they need to progress in their careers and potentially access more employment opportunities.
There are a proportion of existing practitioners across Wales who are currently qualified in Children’s Care Learning and Development (CCLD) Level 3 who require targeting to complete the ‘Level 3 Award in Transition to Playwork (from Early Years)’ to meet the requirements of the NMS.
