The brief

NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group is inviting interested providers to apply to be part of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of Termination of Pregnancy Services to women across the city of Leeds.

All providers are required to provide a full range of services to include face-to-face care, telemedicine, scanning, post-operative management, and both medical and surgical procedures up to and including 23+6 weeks' gestation.

The aims of the service are to: • Provide a consistent, effective, comprehensive, accessible, legal and appropriate abortion service – as early as possible and in consideration of personal circumstances. • Provide a choice of abortion methods, clinically appropriate for gestation and clinical circumstances. • Ensure that risk of infection and other complications is minimised. • Ensure that opportunities for contraceptive information and supply and sexual health screening are maximised • Ensure all people, their partners and their families have access to high quality information, advice and care (as defined by national standards together with feedback from people and families).

The contract will commence on 1 October 2021 and ends on 30 September 2024 with an option to extend for a further 2 years. **AS THIS IS A DYNAMIC PURCHASING SYSTEM (DPS) THE OPPORTUNITY TO APPLY WILL REMAIN OPEN FOR THE DURATION OF THE DPS.

IT DOES NOT CLOSE ON 27.07.2021.

PROVIDERS CAN APPLY ANYTIME AND APPLICATIONS WILL BE REVIEWED QUARTERLY** The Services to which this Procurement relates fall within Schedule 3 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (the ‘Regulations’).

As such, the procurement of the Services is being run as a bespoke, process akin to, but not the same as, the Dynamic Purchasing System Procedure.

In conducting this process NHS Leeds CCG does not intend to hold itself bound by any of the Regulations, save those applicable to Schedule 3 services.
