Transport for London (TfL) (contracting as its subsidiary, London Underground Limited) is entering into a 15 year PPA ('PPA Comet') with a renewable generator, EDF Energy Renewables Limited (through its subsidiary Longfield Solar Energy Farm Limited), contracting for 80GWhs of renewable energy per annum from an 'additional' generator asset (Longfield solar farm, Essex).
The new build facility is due to begin delivering power to TfL under a PPA on 1 December 2028.
