The works at East Road within the British Museum estate comprise construction of a new building as part of the Museum’s overall South South-West Energy Centre (SWEC) Programme.
The basement, ground and first floor building will provide accommodation for mechanical, electrical and fire systems plant, plus carpentry, electrical, locksmith workshop/maintenance facilities.
The works relate to the base building only to be delivered as a waterproof shell.
It excludes all fit out and MEP to serve the building and primary MEP central plant.
