In line with the UK`s preparation for Plasma for Medicines, The Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) have been requested to prepare for the introduction of HAV and Parvo B19 testing.
HAV and Parvo B19 testing can be performed on current SNBTS equipment that is used for testing of Hepatitis B (HCV).
