The brief

National Gas Transmission (NGT) is currently looking to understand the market for maintenance of its Compressor Acoustic Buildings (Cabs) which are located across ~21 sites in the United Kingdom.

The RFI can be found on Achilles under the name: National Gas - Compressor Cabs Maintenance for RIIO T-3 RFI or following this link https://my.achilles.com/buyer-request-information/buyer-event-detail/1d7660af-6e42-4cbe-9930-f59ee5756959/suppliers/false The purpose of this RFI is for NGT to better understand the expertise of contractors and their supply chain with regards to maintenance of compressor cabs.

NGT is exploring market capabilities to create a robust, resilient strategy to drive value, develop long-term partnerships with key contractors, and to ensure safe, successful delivery of RIIO T-3.

Current funding from OFGEM is indicating up to £100m for RIIO T-3. contract will not be awarded as a result of this RFI.

This is not a formal tender process and is not being undertaken in accordance with the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016.

Cab Structure Remedial Works (Mechanical & Civil/Structural) • Door refurbishment and replacements • Cladding and seal repairs • Roof repairs • Paint upgrade and corrosion rectification • Cab steelwork and access repairs 2.

Ventilation System Upgrades (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Software ) Bringing Ventilation Systems across fleet in compliance with ISO21789 comprising of: Participant a person (e.g. company, limited liability partnership, firm, joint venture, etc) involved in this Procurement Process RFI the Request For Information document requesting key information RFI Questionnaire the questions asked in this RFI document NGT National Gas Transmission Reques t For Information (RF I) v1 .0 3 • New fans and motors • New ductwork and support system • Introduction of new ventilation filtration systems • Fire & Gas system modifications (software & hardware) • Fire dampers • MCC Upgrades 3.

Air Intake Filter House (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Software) Repair • Filter replacement • Corrosion rectification and paintwork • Refurbishment of existing system to E12 filtration • Silencer refurbishment or replacement • Flexible connections Replacement of Filter House • New Air Intake system (silencer, E12 filtration, weather hoods etc) • Associated steelwork and access • Lighting (Internal & External) 5.
