DfT provision of a C++ Programmer The supplier will be providing technical support on the C++ part of the DfT National Aviation Passenger Allocation Model (NAPAM).
The supplier will work alongside other transport modellers, economists, and analysts to develop and maintain NAPAM.
The central part of this model is a bespoke module written using Microsoft .NET C++ environment with Excel used to input/output data (c.
10,000 lines of code).
This module performs mathematical calculations iteratively until a solution that meets user defined inputs is achieved (e.g. passengers at a particular airport not exceeding a set value).
The requirement entails providing ad-hoc software development support of the bespoke C++ module to expert users The contract duration is for 3-years (36-months), with no option to extend.
This contract is a call-off with a maximum budget of £120,000.00 excluding VAT.
This budget is non-committal – therefore the Authority cannot guarantee volume and spend.
