The brief

Christchurch Town Council invites tenders for the provision of grounds maintenance services across its public open spaces and associated assets.

The contract will commence on 1st October 2026 for an initial period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for a further one (1) year at the Council's sole discretion.

The Council seeks to appoint a competent and experienced contractor capable of delivering a safe, reliable, responsive and environmentally responsible grounds management service that: • maintains attractive, accessible and welcoming public spaces; • supports biodiversity and environmental objectives; • maintains assets to agreed standards; • provides value for money; • responds effectively to seasonal requirements; and • complies with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
