When this comes round again

The National Lottery Community Fund publishes Research & Development work continuously — 21 notices, roughly one every 12 days. This is a stream to watch, not a cycle to wait for.

29% of The National Lottery Community Fund’s awards go to a supplier it has used before.

Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →

The brief

The Fund is seeking to procure a suitable supplier (an individual organisation or a consortium with a lead supplier) to deliver the Together for Families Support Contract.

The appointed supplier will be required to provide a distinct but fully aligned support service for the Together for Families programme, a £59.2m partnership programme with the Northern Ireland Department of Health (DoH), helping to ensure that the structural, relational and cultural elements of the programme are effectively embedded and sustained, in ways that are accessible, respectful and grounded in lived experience.

Concurrently, we are also procuring the ‘C0178 Together for Families Evaluation’ contract.

Bidders may submit a tender for this contract, the C0178 Together for Families Evaluation Contract, or both.

The appointed supplier will be expected to work collaboratively with the Evaluation Supplier, where different suppliers are appointed, to align learning, share relevant insights and evidence, and contribute to a coherent understanding of programme delivery, outcomes and impact.
