The brief

The project comprises the removal of existing timber perimeter fencing and the design, supply and installation of new secure fencing and gate systems to two identified areas at Fitzmary House, Bethlem Royal Hospital, Beckenham BR3 3BX.

The works are required to improve patient safety, site security and boundary control for the Neuropsychiatric Unit (NPU).

The fencing solution shall provide anti-climb characteristics and reduced ligature risk appropriate to a mental health environment.

The proposed solution consists of approximately 41.1 linear metres of 4.0m high Fortress 80 secure fencing, associated foundations, pedestrian access gates and privacy screening/cloaking where indicated.
