The brief

The services required consist of the following deliverables, to be covered under a formal Service Level Agreement: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) – routine servicing, inspecting and testing to an agreed schedule, according to statutory obligations, British Standards, risk assessments and manufacturer’s recommendations.

Reactive Maintenance – a call-out service with on-site response in accordance with set priorities, including emergency out-of-hours provision, to investigate faults and issues, make safe or ‘de-risk’ and repair.

Planned Maintenance and Minor Works – planned repair and remediation identified from PPM and reactive attendance, or upgrade, modification, installation and other assistance on request from the University.

Asset and Condition Appraisal – annual verification and condition review of systems within contract scope, making recommendations regarding life cycle renewal and planned maintenance priorities.
