The brief

The Hertfordshire and West Essex Integrated Care Board have awarded a contract to The Rowan Organisation to deliver a Personal Health Budget service within the South and West Hertfordshire Place.

The service provided by The Rowan Organisation will be to process payments for the Personal Health Budgets utilising an online monitoring tool.

The support service is provided in house within the ICB's team.

The need to implement a contract with The Rowan Organisation has been brought about by unforeseen circumstances due to the incumbent provider serving notice on the contract.

Therefore, an emergency contract was required to be put in place to ensure continuity of service for patients.

The contract will be for a short-term whilst the ICB considers the long-term options to develop a consistent offering across the Herts and West Essex ICB.
