PLANNED MAINTENANCE AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT RECERTIFICATION FOR HMC SEARCHER

Border Force (BF) is a Directorate of the Home Office.
BF operate a fleet of five (5) Cutters.
One of these Cutters, HMC Searcher (4207 Class), has a requirement for planned maintenance and annual certification of her safety equipment.
The full package of works required is detailed in the attached Statement of Requirements (C17002 - HMC Searcher -LSAMA - SoR - vf).
Following this sourcing exercise based on written quotation, this contract will commence on the 20th November 2019.
Upon successful acceptance of HMC Searcher by the supplier, the work package is required to be undertaken between 20st November and 11th December 2019 in line with the Cutters' operational working pattern.
Works are to be undertaken within the following geographical constraints; Between Portland and Sunderland in the UK and between Cherbourg, France and Rotterdam, The Netherlands in Europe.
Bidders are required to submit their written quotations in both .pdf and .docx formats.
The purpose of this notice is to make the Statement of Requirements (SoR) available and to invite potential suppliers to confirm they can fully meet the requirements by providing a fully itemised written quotation for the work package.
Those potential suppliers are invited to send an email to; Ian McDermott, Home office Commercial at Ian.Mcdermott@homeoffice.gov.uk , confirming their interest in this opportunity, providing the itemised quotation, in addition to confirmation of yard availability on the stated dates.
Furthermore, confirmation of agreement to the Home Office Standard Short Form Services Terms and Conditions (C17002 - T&Cs - HMC Searcher - LSAMA) on which the contract will be awarded is required.
Quotations should also be accompanied by a Cardinal Date Plan (CDP) as stated in the SoR, section 5.4.
