The brief

APM Group is one of the world's leading human services organisations.

We enable better lives through programmes including health assessments, vocational rehabilitation, mental health and wellbeing, and employment assistance services.

About the Opportunity The DWP is commissioning integrated health assessment services to assess eligibility for Health and Disability Benefits including Employment Support Allowance (ESA), Universal Credit (UC) and Personal Independence Payments (PIP).

APM Group understands that DWP intend to commission this service from external suppliers, potentially through a series of regional lots.

Market engagement events have already taken place and we expect to see a Contract Notice for this opportunity during September/October 2019.

It is expected that the following service components will be procured by DWP: • Initial Review and Paper Based Reviews • Appointment Booking • Conducting Assessments • Processing Claimant Expenses Current contracts involve over 4,000 staff (both clinical and administrative) delivering these assessments.

Nationally, there are assessments carried out on around 1 million new claims and 2 million re-assessments each year.

Working in Partnership APM Group has a strong track record of working alongside a supply chain of local and national partners, to ensure we meet the diverse needs of our participants, communities and stakeholders.

In anticipation of the Contract Notice, we are encouraging organisations to express their interest in working in partnership to deliver the Integrated Health Assessment Services contracts.

In the first instance we are interested in talking to potential partners with relevant experience, capacity and capability to support successful delivery of the future contract.

Expressions of Interest (EOI) If you are interested in discussing potential partnerships, including how your organisation could add value to the service by working in partnership, please email partnerships@ingeus.co.uk with your contact details and a member of our Partnerships Team will get back to you.
