Radioactive Waste Management Limited (the Contracting Authority)(RWM) in 2019 implemented a P3M tool (Cora) as part of a wider business transformation initiative to deliver industry best practice in project and programme management.
The contract period was for two years and development and implementation of the system took place from July to December 2019.
This meant that the system licences were not activated until the system went live on 1 December 2019.
A contract amendment, extended the contract period from July 2021 to 30 November 2021 to align with the licence renewal.
The contract expires at the end of November 2021.
There is a business requirement to maintain Cora for a further year whilst RWM transitions functionality into key company PPM systems.
RWM, by way of business continuation and smooth transition, seeks to award a contract directly to Cora Systems Limited ("Cora") in buying licences for a one year period until 30 November 2022.
