The London Borough Bromley is seeking to establish new and comprehensive services for people living in Bromley.
In order to provide information about the proposed services and gain feedback from prospective suppliers, the Council is hosting a Provider Information Event where there will be presentations as well as question and answer sessions The programme for the day will be divided into two parts.
Providers may attend just one or both sessions.
Session 1: 10am – 12 noon, Sexual Health Early Intervention Services Overview: • Outreach Health Promotion Service • Chlamydia Screening and STI Home-Sampling Programmes • Specialised Prevention Programme for Bromley’s LGBTQ population • Bromley’s Community HIV Specialist Nurse Service • Community Pharmacy Emergency Hormonal Contraception Service for young people under 25 • Community Contraception and Reproductive Health Service 12 noon – 1pm, lunch Session 2: 1pm – 3pm, Health Visiting and NCMP Health Visiting Service Overview • Providing an accessible 0-5 Health Visiting Service in line with PHE guidance; including delivery of the ‘4-5-6 model for Health Visiting’ • Embedding early intervention and prevention approaches; developing more integrated approaches working closely with Bromley’s Early Interventions and Family Support Service NCMP Overview The National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) is a nationally mandated programme to measure all children's height and weight when they start and finish primary school.
The provider service will ensure safe clinical governance, and strong information governance.
The provider will maintain participation from all eligible schools and high participation rates.
The outline agenda for each session is: • Introduction • Background to the service(s) • Proposed structure • Intended outcomes • Procurement process and timescales Consortium bids will be encouraged.
Suppliers can attend one or both events – please indicate this on the RSVP.
A buffet lunch and networking opportunity will be provided between 12 noon and 1pm.
