York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust are seeking suppliers to provide 24 Hour / 365 day / Resident Medical Officer (RMO) Services on our Orthopaedic Ward in Bridlington Hospital.
To be an integral part of the team responsible for the provision of medical care to Patients on a Routine & Emergency basis in the Orthopaedic Ward, including Clerking-in all patients admitted to the Ward including the completion of online VTE assessments.
To make an accurate and detailed assessment of each patient, along with complete medical records of each event.
To undertake certain medical procedures, for example: *Blood Taking *IV Cannulations *Urinary Catheters *Central Vein Canulation *Establishing Patients on a Transfer Ventilator for transport *Arterial Blood Sampling *ECG's *Insertion of naso-gastric Tubes etc.
To comply with all Hospital Clinical Governance frameworks & policies.
All RMO's must hold a GMC Registration and be entitled to Legally practice, as a Doctor, within the UK.
Must hold a Bachelor of Medical Sciences Degree or Equivalent, recognised by the GMC.
All RMO's must have attended an EPLS/APLS or ALS/ACLS training Course.
