The aim of the Psychotherapy Services is to maximise the Officer and staff resources available for the effective delivery of policing, by efficiently contributing to a reduction in sickness absence and ill health retirements, through: • Ensuring Officers and staff are medically fit for duties. • Contributing to the maintenance of staff wellbeing. • Fulfilling organisational duty of care by providing advice to managers to assist in managing work related health issues.
