Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of Food inspections for Regulations and Enforcement The Provider will be appointed as an agent to provide Food Officers ("Officers") who have powers to enter and inspect food outlets at all reasonable hours.
They are not normally required to make an appointment and will usually arrive without notice during normal opening hours This contract will be for a period of 3 years commencing 01 04 2018 until 31 03 2021.
The contract will be reviewed on an annual basis depending on previous performance including the ability of the provider to deliver all orders on time.
BCC will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and providers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
