This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the IT Services band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 36,449 valued IT Services tenders in our corpus.
Birmingham City Council requires a supplier for the provision of 3D geometry data modelling the City Centre and surrounds.
A range of City Council activities are supported by the architectural Computer Generated Imagery (CGI) function of City Design and Conservation.
This service supplies photo-realistic 3D visualisations of development proposals for marketing and publicity purposes and for use in documents such as the Our Future City Plan.
Developments in CGI software have created opportunities to use such data in new ways to support the planning and design process and to create innovative marketing and communications materials including interactive digital models, allowing users to explore development proposals and growth areas in real time.
The Council will be using its free to use e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration of this procurement process and potential suppliers must register with the system to be able to express an interest.
