Reading Borough Council wish to procure the Demolition of Central Pool, Reading, including asbestos removal and site hoarding.
The scope of this demolition and ACM removal contract is described in detail within the procurement document, but summarised under two consecutive phases, as: Phase 1 (Whilst public car park remains in operation) - Erecting of solid boundary hoarding; soft strip; removal of ACMs; isolation of mains services.
Phase 2 (Whilst public car park is closed) - Demolition of building including foundations; crushing and backfilling to ground level.
