The existing boilers have reached the end of their serviceable life and require replacement before the start of the cold weather in 2026.
The proposed works comprise the refurbishment and replacement of existing gas-fired boiler plant within two existing plantrooms serving The Beeches Primary School, Beech Avenue, Peterborough, PE1 2EH.
The existing boiler plant currently consists of MHS Stratus boilers which are considered to be at the end of their operational life expectancy.
The works shall include the removal of the existing boilers and associated redundant equipment and the installation of new Ideal / Hamworthy Evomax 2 modular boiler systems complete with new frame and header arrangements, plate heat exchangers, controls integration works, flue systems, ancillary equipment, commissioning, testing and handover.
