Request for Information (RFI) - Commercial options for online Psychometric assessment platforms
Financial Ombudsman Service has published 234 notices across all categories, and 42% of its awards go to a supplier it has used before.
Which is the argument for getting on the list rather than winning this one. The incumbent is rarely the last winner — it is the roster. See the retention odds by category →
The Financial Ombudsman Service (The Service) is intending to go out to the market for an online psychometric assessment platform and as part of an early market engagement exercise we are requesting information from the market on options available in relation to commercial models such as pricing strategies and availability of some related services and outputs.
The Service is based in London and Coventry and at the present time we have circa 2,900 employees.
In addition it has circa 1,500 contingent workers and temporary staff all of which, throughout their employment journey with us may be required to undertake psychometric personality and ability tests.
High level requirements at this stage include (but are not limited to): Full user access to a range of online ability and personality assessments with report options which will be facilitated by The Service representative/s.
This should include issuing the tests out to candidates to processing and issuing the results as part of: - The Service's own recruitment process - individual learning and development - group and team building exercise's and or - coaching and leadership campaigns.
Any information shared to us by the market will be used only for the purpose of consideration of options when preparing and planning our procurement.

We would be interested to understand if a single supplier can provide all available tests and the options for specific tests (or equivalent ) which may need to come through 3rd party providers for IPR reasons?
3.
Will Providers also be able to deliver coaching on the results of the reports and or consultation services as and when the Service requires in order to support facilitating team development events?
