Rugby Borough Council are looking for a contractor to carry out hard and soft landscaping to refurbish the existing children’s play area within Public Open Space off Craven Road, Rugby as part of phased works.
The works include: - Removal of metal weldmesh and bow top fencing - Removal of tarmac paving including concrete edging kerbs - Topsoil stripping - Lowering of existing electric cable and additional protective covering - New tarmac paving - Installation of new safer surfacing to include rubber wet pour and interlocking PVC grass mats - Concrete block paving to form edge restraint to new paving and surfacing - Installation of new play equipment to include metal combination swing frame (2 flat seat and 1 basket) and timber climbing unit with metal slide - Installation of new site furniture to include metal seats and steel litter bin - Construction of castellated timber sleeper wall - Tree, hedge and shrub planting - Top soiling and turfing
