The brief

SCH and SMBC intends to create a Flexible Contracting Arrangement (FCA) with the aim of reducing spot purchasing for temporary accommodation.

Providers in the market will be able to apply to join the FCA and will be awarded a contract, with either SCH or SMBC separately, under the FCA only if their application meets the minimum requirements and assurance checks are satisfactory.

New applicants can apply to join the FCA at any point during the period of validity.

The CSW-Jets (SMBC’s e-tendering portal) will be used to submit applications to join the FCA and be considered for provision of temporary accommodation.

This FCA would be used to procure temporary accommodation for all families and single people.
