SPEECH AND LANGUAGE THERAPY MARKET ENGAGEMENT We would like to seek expressions of interest from organisations that can provide a service undertaking initial assessments within Hull mainstream community and pre school complex needs teams.
The service will be expected to assess pre school and school aged children with: • Social communication difficulties • Speech and language difficulties associated with a diagnosis of Down Syndrome and other medical diagnosis • Developmental/disordered speech and language difficulties The service will be required to work within the NHS framework and in line with service care pathways and will require the flexibility to deliver the service in a variety of locations including mainstream schools, clinics and families homes according to clinical need.
The successful organisation is required to meet quality standards and to be able to include within any subsequent proposal procedure for DBS Checking, Safeguarding Training, Incident Reporting, Data Collection, Clinical Record Keeping, Information Governance and Indemnity Arrangements.
