This is a contract result notice, not an open opportunity. Details from the official award data.
This sits in the lower-middle of the Health & Social Care band — a mid-scale opportunity. Based on 32,734 valued Health & Social Care tenders in our corpus.
Derbyshire County Council will be inviting tenders from organisations for the provision of domestic heating and home improvements.
The contract length will be for 1 year,.
The contract budget will be approximately £300,000 per annum.
At least 40,000 households across the county live in fuel poverty and a few thousand of these are vulnerable owner occupiers who are in extreme poverty.
Derbyshire County Council Adult Social Care and Health acknowledges that living in a cold or unfit home will have an adverse effect on the mental and physical health of vulnerable householders.
This situation will put householders at risk of admission to hospital or care or prevent them from returning home.
We are interested to hear the views of organisations on the delivery of domestic heating, plumbing, insulation, electrical, minor building and clearance work for vulnerable owner occupiers across Derbyshire (Excluding Derby City).
