The Service Provider must carry out the Works and Services in compliance with this Specification in a manner that will maintain the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the Emergency Lighting Systems and Equipment in the Council's Properties and deliver effective planned and preventative maintenance to improve the reliability of the Emergency Lighting Systems and Equipment.
The Service Provider shall only use skilled and fully qualified staff for the works, where working on live circuits they must be registered as NICEIC full members and meet the requirements of BS 5839.
In providing the Works and Services, the Service Provider shall carry out all activities necessary for the continual running and efficient use of all specified Emergency Lighting Systems and Equipment.
These activities shall include but are not limited to performing: • effective and efficient reactive repairs; • planned maintenance to ensure that all Emergency Lighting Systems and Equipment are kept in reliable working order and are compliant with all legal and environmental requirements; and all other tasks outlined in this Specification
