The brief

We require a Training Management System (TMS) that will administer all processes involved in managing and delivering our external training offer, including developing course programmes and designs, advertising and promotion, booking, communications, pre and post-course learning, evaluation, and reporting.

The system will need to be made up of a Back End (used by the Administrators), and a Front End (used by external delegates).

There should be the facility to integrate: i) the front end with Historic England's corporate website, to present a cohesive and unified front to our users, and ii) the Back End with our corporate Customer Relationship Management system (Microsoft Dynamics) to manage personal data.

The system would initially need to manage up to 60 courses with up to 1800 annual delegates.

However it must be possible to extend these numbers in future years if the programmes expand, or to reduce them if the programmes contract.

The TMS will need to be in place and fully usable by 31 January 2019, to allow it to be used for events running from March 2019 onwards.
