The Contracting Authority seeks to engage the market through this Pre-Tender Market Engagement (PTME) exercise in preparation for the potential procurement of a supplier to provide consultancy support across various aspects, including Bus Network Planning, Transport Partnerships and wider Strategic Development.

It is expected that support will be required to establish and enhance transport partnerships across the region.

In addition, consultancy support is expected to be needed to meet the requirements of ‘Better Connected’, which is the Government’s new Integrated National Transport Strategy.

Support in this regard is expected to be specifically in relation to assist TVCA in meeting the vision for buses.

TVCA are undertaking preliminary market engagement in advance of a potential future procurement for consultancy support relating to transport partnership development, local bus service planning, and strategic transport policy work.

The Authority is seeking to engage organisations with relevant expertise to help inform the scope, structure and delivery approach of a potential future commission, in accordance with evolving national policy and anticipated guidance from the Department for Transport (DfT).
